AG 훈민정음체
AG Hunminjeongeum
It is a mono–spaced type with 1,000-unit letter width.
The Final consonant “e-ung” was designed to distinguish it from the old Korean word “e-ung” by removing the knob.
In order to match modern Hangeul, the line standards of old Hangeul have been organized to match modern Hangeul.

천하에 명산이 다섯이 있으니 동쪽은 동악 태산이요, 서쪽은 서악 화산이요, 남쪽은 남악 형산이요, 북쪽은 북악 항산이요, 가운데는 중악 숭산이다. 오악 중에 오직 형산이 중국에서 가 장 멀어 구의산이 그 남쪽에 있고, 동정강이 그 북쪽에 있고, 소 상강 물이 그 삼면에 둘러 있으니, 제일 수려한 곳이다. 그 가운 데 축용, 자개, 천주, 석름, 연화 다섯 봉우리가 가장 높으니, 수 목이 울창하고 구름과 안개가 가리워 날씨가 아주 맑고 햇빛이 밝지 않으면 사람이 그 근사한 진면목을 쉽게 보지 못하였다.
진나라 때 선녀 위부인이 옥황상제의 명을 받아 선동과 옥녀를 거느리고 이 산에 와 지키니, 신령한 일과 기이한 거동은 다 헤 아리지 못할 정도였다.
당나라 시절에 한 노승이 있어 서역 천축국에서 와 연화봉 경 치를 사랑하여, 제자 오륙백 인을 데리고 연화봉 위에 법당을 크게 지었으니, 혹 육여화상이라 하기도 하고 혹 육관대사라 하기도 하였다.
그 대사가 대승법으로 중생을 가르치고 귀신을 다스리니 사람 이 다 공경하여 생불(생불)이 세상에 나왔다 하였다. 무수한 제 자 가운데 성진이라 하는 중이 삼장경문을 모르는 것이 없고 총명한 지혜를 당할 사람이 없으니, 대사가 극히 사랑하여 입 던 옷과 먹던 바리때를 성진에게 전하고자 하였다.
대사가 매일 모든 제자와 함께 불법을 강론하는데 동정용왕이 백의노인으로 변하여 법석에 참예해 경문을 들었다.
대사가 제자를 불러 말하였다.

노래로 이르건데: 하늘과 땅의 조화 는 본디 하나의 기운이니, 음양과 오 행이 서로 처음이 되며 끝이 되네. 만물이 둘(하늘과 땅)사이에서 꼴 과 소리 있으되, 근본은 둘이 아니니 ‘이’와 ‘수’로 통하네. 정음의 글자 만 듦에 그 꼴과 짝지어서, 소리가 거세 어짐에 따라 매양 획을 더하였다. 『훈민정음 옮김과 해설』, 한글학회.

만물이 둘 사이에서 형체와 소리가 있 으니, 근본은 둘이 아니므로 이치와 수가 통한다. 정음의 글자 만듦에는 그 모양을 중요시해, 소리의 세기에 의해 그때마다 획을 더했다. 초성과 종성이 비록 둘로 나뉜다고 해도, 종 성에 초성을 다시 쓴 뜻은 알 수 있다. 훈민정음의 글자는 오직 스물여덟 글 자일 뿐이지만, 얽힘을 찾아 밝히고, 깊고 미묘함을 탐구한 것이다.
