2집 «오브제 타입 Objet Type» 누타입의 두 번째 프로젝트로, 디지털 환경을 넘어 촉각적으로 경험할 수 있는 매체인 ‘도자 공예’와의 접목을 통해 폰트를 단순히 시각적인 요소가 아닌 물리적으로 감각하고 경험할 수 있는 형태로 확장했습니다. 동시에 ‘도자 공예’는 ‘폰트’와 접목하여 그 물질성을 넘어 디지털 환경에서도 새로운 방식으로 해석되고 경험하게 합니다. 이를 통해, 각 분야에서 시도하지 않았던 경험적 교류를 탐색하는 것이 이번 프로젝트의 핵심입니다. ‘도자 공예’의 특성 3가지를 기반으로 폰트 3종을 제작했습니다. NU 콜로코Colloco는 우리에게 익숙한 도자공예의 코일링 기법에서 모티브를 얻어 제작했습니다. 올록볼록한 형태와 닮은 세리프를 만들고, 쌓이는 형태를 강조하기 위해 획 두께를 반전시켰습니다. ‘함께 놓다’, ‘배치하다’라는 뜻을 가진 라틴어 ‘colloco’ 처럼, 개별적인 요소들이 조화롭게 어우러질 수 있도록 고안했습니다.

In coiling, nothing is rushed. Clay is turned, pressed, and gently lifted. Lines wrap around themselves, circling upward. Every layer depends on the one before it — a slow accumulation of shape, care, and balance. The softness of the material meets the firmness of the hand. Mistakes stay visible, traces remain. It is not about perfection, but about presence — building something that feels alive, shaped by both hand and time.
