AG Superblack Myeongjo V1.0
AG 초특태명조 V1.0
AG Ultra Bold Myeongjo V1.0 is the heaviest weight in the display serif category, based on designs attributed to the legendary Hangeul designer Choi Jung-ho. It is characterized by high stroke contrast and thick stems that fully occupy the em-square. V1.0 was developed by analyzing "seed characters" from Choi’s presumed works, such as the Madang magazine masthead and Hongik University lettering. This "Ultra Bold Serif" captures the sharp impressions of connections and terminals while maintaining delicate spatial distribution. As the initial release, it includes 2,783 Hangeul characters (expanding the KS standard and Adobe KR-9), Latin characters with comprehensive European diacritics, and newly crafted symbols designed to match the typeface's weight and character.
