일반으로 꺾꽂이에 의하는데︑ 교배육종을 하고자 할 때에는 실생법에 의한다︒ 꺾꽂이 시기는 꽃피는 시기와 관계가 있다︒ 즉 12월부터 꽃이 피게 하려면 1~2월 중에 꺾꽂이를 하는데︑ 어미포기에서 옆가지 6~9cm 크기의 것을 옆으로 뉘어 잡아당겨 따낸 것을 사용하며︑ 이 때 그 가지에 달린 잎의 3분의 1정도를 잘라버리고 물에 1시간 동안 담가 두었다가 꽂는다︒ 흙은 잘 풍화된 적토나 가는 모래를 쓴다︒ 깊이가 9cm되는 나무상자에 흙을 넣고 고르게 다진 다음 깊이 2~3cm︑ 포기사이 3cm 간격으로 꽂는다︒ 꺾꽂이가 끝나면 충분히 물을 주고 종이로 상자를 덮어 밤의 온도 10~12도 되게 관리하면 30~40일 후에 뿌리가 내린다︒

Since 2019, he has been operating the design studio ‘Asymmetry and Square’ and has been active in the field of letter design, including exhibitions, research, logos, and font production. He designed fonts such as Sanuwha, Twoface, Tasan, and Sanjak. It produces about 3MB of character data per year.
