We hope that our website gives you a glimpse of a future where type design fully embraces digital. Of course, this is just the beginning, and we are just two explorers finding our way in a new world of type, deeply passionate about creating a new type family. We believe that our website demonstrates the passion we have for our work, through typefaces, work in progress, and experimentation. Going forward, we will continue our prototyping processes, explore more languages and graphic territories, and transpose our new family of fonts into interfaces, layouts and visual universes. “Lemanic(이하 ‘르마닉’)”은 피에르 시몽 프루니에(Pierre-Simon Fournier)의 아이디어와 고전적인 Romain du Roi 서체를 결합한 결과물입니다. 르마닉은 일반적인 라틴 세리프체보다 길고 두터운 세리프를 지닌 ‘텍스트’ 버전과 제목에 더 적합한 모양을 가진 선명하고 우아한 '디스플레이' 버전으로 이루어져 있습니다. 르마닉은 고전 트랜지셔널 스타일을 기반으로 여러 개성적인 요소들이 섞여져 있습니다. 미묘하게 기울어진 축을 가지고 있어 보다 캘리그라픽적인 느낌을 드러냅니다. 또한 르마닉 이탤릭은 이탤릭만의 독특하고 독립적인 형태를 지니고 있습니다. 르마닉 이탤릭은 캘리그라픽 느낌을 강하게 넣어 보다 더 역동적인 느낌을 선사합니다. 서로 다른 매력을 지닌 르마닉 텍스트(Text), 디스플레이(Display), 이탤릭(Text, Display Italic)을 사용해 역동적이면서도 우아한 느낌의 레이아웃을 구성해보세요.

Our goal is to bring a broad aspect to what typography is in the 21st century. Indeed, as the digital world becomes more mobile, branding passes more and more through type design. This includes specifically the all aspect of custom typefaces and fonts. In addition to the experience of designing typefaces and to partner with clients to create brands, we have a multicultural approach focused on Hangeul, the Korean script, and the Latin one, which alphabet is used for languages such as English, French, Spanish or Polish to name a few.
